365 | Days 21 - 27

I learned some things this week.

I learned about the properties of natural lighting... the difference between hard and soft light, the difference between split and 45* light, and how good light makes everything awesome...

I also learned that I dread shooting indoors by overhead light.

I also learned that I'll have to work extra hard to be creative with my bath-time shots... I'm running out of ideas:)

Here is this week... It was almost an all black and white week, but I opted for some color... just to keep it lively!

Oh, and as I uploaded these images, I learned that shots of my kids, on the green grass, wearing red, are some of my very, very favorite shots!

365 | days 13 - 20

Another week in the books...

Some days its a challenge to get a shot.  Keeping in the theme of this year's 365, I've decided on those nights... I get what I get.

Take Day 14, for example... didn't have time.  Had a rough day.  No time at home.  Was only able to get 2 (quite imperfect) shots that day... but, thats just how it went...

365 | Day 6 - 12

Funny thing... I was feeling bummed about this weeks pics... til I saw them all together here.  I like 'em!

Now that I am back to work, I feel like the only time I have to take pics is during bath time... and I'm, frankly, sick of taking pics inside... but I guess, if nothing else, its good practice ('cause heaven knows its not my strength!).

I'm Baaaaack!! Project 365 days 1-5

 I decided to give a go at another 365 project... mostly because I love looking back at all my 365 posts from last year and I really wish I had finished.  This year I am trying to simplify- to ensure more success.  SO... I'll take a pic every day, but I won't post every day.  I can't guarantee when I'll post, but it'll be as often as feasible;)

So... here are our first 5 days. Enjoy.  And thanks for following along!

November FUN!

Warm Novembers are great!  Walks, bike rides, strolls, lots of outdoor fun!

He is a ham and a half!

I love this boy's hair!  He won't let me cut it, or style it... he wants it be "Moosie hair"... and I oblige, because he is stinkin' cute!

Levi is 3.75 years old and has been riding with no training wheels for about 6 months!! I credit it all to his balance bike!  Best idea ever!

I realize the next two are out of focus and super bright... but its ok with me, because look at the joy on their faces!!!

This was Thanksgiving at Granny and Pops!!  Loved the leaves

He was pretending... promise.

This boy... gosh... he melts my heart.
I told him there was a bunny in my camera (original, I know)... the frame before this he is squinting, looking hard... then I told him it would be invisible unless he smiled- it worked!! For me anyway!

Speaking of melting my heart... look at this studly man!  NO WONDER I have the most adorable children... what a HUNK:)

Here's to finding Joy in the many blessings the Holidays bring and in knowing that we all received the greatest blessing and gift of Grace and redemption through Jesus.  As we move quickly in to December, remember the true reason we celebrate.
