365 | Days 48 - 54

Hope y'all had an awesome week!!!

This was  a big week for us... The Moose turned FOUR!!! I simply cannot believe it! It seems like he really thinks four is a big deal.  He tells me something new daily that he can do because he is four. He is such a sweet, sensitive, and silly boy!!!

As usual, I thought I totally bombed this week... but, again, I'm not TOO disappointed with what I ended up with:)

365 | Days 41 - 47

Exciting times this week!

The weather was warmer than it has been in a while and it felt so good to be able to be outdoors a little more.

The boys really enjoyed celebrating and preparing for Valentine's day and Sister strives to be more and more independent every day!

I got a set of macro extension tubes off of Amazon for just $10 and started playing around... can I just say, macro is WAY harder than it looks!!!  Total fail for me!!

All in all, it was a blessed week... full of busyness with a happy and healthy family.  Praise the Lord for that!

365 | Days 34 - 40

Another great week behind us.  We all recovered from the sickies and chugged right through our week.   It was a busy one as always.  I am becoming increasingly more aware of what an awesome Hubba I have.  He is constantly going the extra mile, doing more, making things work, and providing calm in the midst of the crazy.  His love for his little family is unmatched.  Gosh, I love him:)  He is the most wonderful Hubba and most amazing Daddy.  We are more than blessed!!!

This weekend and next are three day weekends for us (except for Daddy...boo!)... so we are looking forward to that extra day to relax and go at our own pace.

Another week in the books.

A week of fevers, migraines, and lots of gorgeous sunsets...

A week of family and of love...

A week of blessings.

365 | Days 21 - 27

I learned some things this week.

I learned about the properties of natural lighting... the difference between hard and soft light, the difference between split and 45* light, and how good light makes everything awesome...

I also learned that I dread shooting indoors by overhead light.

I also learned that I'll have to work extra hard to be creative with my bath-time shots... I'm running out of ideas:)

Here is this week... It was almost an all black and white week, but I opted for some color... just to keep it lively!

Oh, and as I uploaded these images, I learned that shots of my kids, on the green grass, wearing red, are some of my very, very favorite shots!

365 | days 13 - 20

Another week in the books...

Some days its a challenge to get a shot.  Keeping in the theme of this year's 365, I've decided on those nights... I get what I get.

Take Day 14, for example... didn't have time.  Had a rough day.  No time at home.  Was only able to get 2 (quite imperfect) shots that day... but, thats just how it went...

Funny thing... I was feeling bummed about this weeks pics... til I saw them all together here.  I like 'em!

Now that I am back to work, I feel like the only time I have to take pics is during bath time... and I'm, frankly, sick of taking pics inside... but I guess, if nothing else, its good practice ('cause heaven knows its not my strength!).
